Our Coastal Treasure
Subjects covered, necessarily briefly, include some history of the area and shipwrecks along the coast, its physical features, wildlife on the land, in the air and in the sea, plant life and some of the walks available. Contributors are local or near-local experts in their various fields who have given their expertise voluntarily and willingly and the result has been an interesting and informative "dip in" reference which is on most bookshelves of the people who love the area as residents or as visitors. The first edition of this booklet, published by The Trust in 1985, was to provide information for visitors and residents on topics related to the environment of St Francis. A second edition was published in November 2001 and a third has now been published.
